There is no railway system in Yemen, so most traveling is done by bus and service taxi (shared taxi). Private taxis and cars with drivers are also options. Far from everybody owns their own car. Yemen has two international airports, and several domestic airports. For getting around in the mountains in areas without roads donkeys are used as transportation. |
