With it's snow covered mountains Georgia makes a good skiing destination.The country’s main resorts are Gudauri and Bakuriani, the latter of which used to be the Soviet Union’s most popular ski resort. Thanks to its wild, geographic location it is possible at Gudauri to do a wide range of activities such as off-trail, cross country and even extreme skiing, the practice of being dropped onto a slope from a helicopter. |
