Cuba is officially an atheist country, but Catholicism is quite popular, often combined with the African rooted religion, Santeria. Churches most commonly seen in Cuba are Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, and Presbyterian. Communication with the dead, and brujeria (witchcraft) are also seen practiced by scattered small groups. |
