Egyptian cuisine is a blend of Mediterranean, Arabian, and Turkish cuisines. Common ingredients used in Egyptian cuisine include garlic, herbs, vegetables, lemon and lots of onions. Stable food in Egypt is beans and bread, often served with vegetables. Warm food is usually eaten for lunch, and is readily available in many of the good street kitchens and restaurants. |
