About one third of Morocco's labor force is employed in agriculture, mainly growing wheat, barley, and sugar beets. Citrus fruits, sugarcane, vegetables, and olives are also important crops. Cattle, horses, camels, asses, chickens, sheep, and goats are the main livestock raised. The remaining are mainly working in manufacturing, trade and services. Tourism makes up for many jobs in the service sector. |
