Food on the Seychelles is influenced by many areas of the world, and in the typical dishes can be found Indian varieties of curry and spices, coconut milk, chilies. Another Asian trade is stir-fries and rice, using locally caught fish, ginger and fresh vegetables. The French legacy can be found in the form of dishes infused with garlic and herbs.
