[[Ver estas páginas en Español][Voir ces pages en Français][Vedere queste pagine in Italiano][Bekijk deze pagina's in het Nederlands]]
In the countryside, most homes are of a one-floor mud-brick construction. Homes are often located close to a water stream or a common well that provides the water needs for the families. In the cities are houses with two stores or more. Some houses are poor and built with natural materials; mud for bricks, stucco and roofing tile, stone for walls and fences, and reeds for thatching. Depending on the income of the homeowner, and often their skill level, the homes are constructed very differently. 62% of Bolivians lives in cities or towns.
