Haiti - Jobs

At more than 60% the unemployment rate in Haiti is extremely high. Most people make a living in the informal sector as vendors, shoe shiners, artists, farmers etc., and therefore have no steady income, paid holidays, paid sick days or any other economic security. Working conditions for many are very hard, and it is far from unusual to see even small kids doing hard manual labor.
