Malaysia's road system is extensive and is among the finest in Asia. Malaysia's highway system comprises several types of roads. There are Federal Roads, State Roads and Municipal Roads, all of which make up one of South-east Asia's most advanced road systems. A distance of about 66,000km is covered.
