Some of the animals found in Ethiopia are the Blue-winged Goose, Duikers and Dik-diks, Ethiopian Wolf, Giant Mole-rat, Giraffe, Gelada Baboon, Lammergeier, Melanism in Felines, Mountain Nyala, Serval Cat, Somali Wild Ass, Topi, Warthog. Some of these animals, like the Mountain Nyala and Ethiopian Wolf, are very rare and only found in Ethiopia. If you are lucky like we were you can spot the Mountain Nyala in the Simien Mountains, and easily spotted are the Gelada Baboons. Apart from that you will see lots of goats/sheep and other livestock. |
