Almost 70% of Norway is uninhabitable and covered by mountains, glaciers, moors, and rivers. Norway has hundreds of fjords that cut into the coastline and give the country an oceanfront of more than 19,312 km. Galdhø Peak is 2,469 m (8,100 ft) high, and is Norway's highest point. The principal river, Glåma, is 598 km (372 mi)long.
