The population of about 4 million in the Palestinian Territories is made up mainly by Palestinian Arabs (more than 80 %). The rest are Israeli citizens and a few minorities such as Kurd, Armenian and Sharkasian. Arab is the official language, but Hebrew is spoken by some Arabs and the Israeli citizens. |
