Buses go everywhere in Turkey, and they do it frequently, cheaply and usually comfortably. Trains are another option, but usually slower an less comfortable. Dolmuşes (shared taxis) are an option for short trips, as well as taxis. In the bigger cities there are trams and metro systems. In Istanbul, commuter ferries and seabuses shuttle passengers across the Bosphorus between Europe and Asia, as well as to the Princes' Islands. |
