Roads in India are generally of a poor standars, and the number of traffic casualties is very high. There is a dangerous confusion of vehicles traveling on one road - camels, horse-pulled traps, elephants, trucks, cars, cyclists, bull-carts and tractors, all mixed up, and occasionally (for the sake of convenience) driving the wrong way down the highway.
